What?!?!? Two fearless awards?!?!?! So excited th

What?!?!? Two fearless awards?!?!?!

So excited this one in particular got an award. Too often the best wedding photography is supposedly grand moments of beauty, excitement, or tearful embraces. This isn’t that. But there is something like the Pieta in this sleeping flower girl with sippy cup and goldfish crackers.

I also like the split screen that nods to the work of Shelby Lee Adams and Gordon Parks and the frame within frames that can happen with photography.

Thanks @huyhuy and @fearlessphotographerscom for building such an amazing platform to motivate photographers to strive to become their very best. There is no other photography competition I respect more.

Literally the last shot from Andrea and Naveen’s amazing San Diego wedding.

We were all walking back from the dunes and were exhausted and ready to eat and sleep. Andrea and Naveen went ahead of me as I had to pack up some gear. There was no more light left and no way to illuminate the couple. Then up the hill came a dune buggy and perfectly lit them as they walked through. Couldn’t have been staged more perfectly.
